Workshop
Welcome to attend the second Workshop of the Japanese and Swedish Scientific Association (JSSA).
This workshop is jointly arranged between the University of Gothenburg and the Environmental Committee of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. It is the second in a series where the first was held in Sapporo, Japan in August 2009. It is an open workshop and all attendees are welcome, but PhD students are especially welcome. If you are a PhD student and register before 17 August lunch and refreshments are included free of charge.

Different disciplines within the scope of the workshop will be covered including, impact of past climate change on society and their culture, present climate threats and how society adopt to these, as well as media's role in environmental protection.
