Popular science events

Every year, the University of Gothenburg arranges several popular science events that are open to the public.

Throughout the school year, hundreds of researchers, artists, musicians and others share their knowledge and skills for anyone to enjoy. The University of Gothenburg is a co-organiser of the International Science Festival, and arranges for example the popular scientific mini-lectures En akademisk kvart (15 academic minutes) at the Bokia bookstore. En akademisk kvart is also available as a podcast that can be downloaded and enjoyed on your mp3 player.
